About Us

Judo Ryu WA was founded in 2005 to provide Judo training to people of all ages in Perth's Southern suburbs.

Our coach is Robert Tichelaar, a Ni-Dan (2nd Dan) Judo, who trained in The Netherlands and has over 37 years of experience as a Judo player, NCAS State level qualified coach, and international Referee.

Adult classes starting May 1st, 2012

We're recommencing our adult classes on Tuesday the 1st of May, 2012 at the Fremantle PCYC, 32A Paget Street, Hilton. Expect to see you all there, but please book ahead.

WA States Results

At the State Championships Patrick was awarded "Most Improved player of the year" award. Well done. Gold for Patrick, Silver for Owen and Jordon, Bronze for Cheyenne. Congrats.

2012 Fremantle Open Judo Championships.

We've missed a year, but we're back on the 18th of March 2012 with our annual championships.

Over 100 competitors will compete at this fun and exciting event.

This is a WA qualifying event for those competitors that wish to compete at the Australian National Championship in June this year.
